Democrats Funded Trump's War on Iran

The war on Iran is massively unpopular. Democrats would like us to believe they're against it, but the Democratic Party wrote the check.

Last year, Trump proposed a record military budget of $892 billion. Congressional Democrats, including Washington Congressman Adam Smith, opposed Trump's proposal - because that number wasn't high enough! Smith fought to add an additional $8 billion to the bill. This shouldn't be surprising. Smith is the top recipient of war industry money among House Democrats, and his donors like Andruil and Palantir are profiting.

115 House Democrats and 27 Senate Democrats voted for this $900 billion war chest.

Don't let Democrats whitewash their records. to put an end to the devastation in Iran, working people need to break with the Democrats and build their own independent movements. This is a war for profits and political control of the Middle East. Israel is using the war to occupy more land, including southern Lebanon.

We need coordinated mass strike action and civil disobedience in cities across the country. Workers need to reject both parties that funded this war.
